Being creative is all I've ever done. It makes me feel good. These are my marks.
I've practised my whole life and now I feel confident that whatever mark I make has a purpose, a significance that helps me go to another level. The work is a whole series of shapes, colours and textures using painting, mono and lino cut printmaking and collage so from whatever angle I see a new shape another relationship between colour and line. |
A contrast that makes me look at the work in a new light.
The works are made up of many pieces that have been improvised and are only finished when all the pieces work together to become one. This is what gives me a sense of being at one with my fellow human being and nature. I love what I do. |
